The Han 3 is modelled after the long-tip horn bows of the Han Dynasty. The long, thin rear-facing tips provide strength, stability, and a smooth draw. Variations of this design

would endure several dynasties up through 1279 AD.

That speed, performance, and power has been recreated for you today using modern materials. Constructed with a bamboo core and black fiberglass, the Han 3 traditional Chinese bow will help you dominate on the range and in the woods.

Includes bow string. Features a Leather lace wrapped handle and rayskin arrow pass.

Suitable for right or left handed shooters. Available in draw weights of 30, 35, 40, and 45# @ 28" draw (belly of bow). Please specify.

Minimum arrow mass per warranty: 9.0 grains-per-pound

Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bow's rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 31" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 30" or 47½# @ 32". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.

Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
