You can match your Satori riser with any ILF limbs you like. The riser offers lateral limb alignment, so you can precision tune the limbs for perfect alignment. Great when you want to switch between bowhunting and target shooting.

Riser: 17", 19", or 21" machined aluminum. Available in blackout, buckskin tan, or wilderness green, in right or left handed. The shelf is radiused and cut 0.44" past center, but features a removable .261" side plate with three spacers (.03" each) for tuning your centershot back to center. ATA accessory holes (not on 17" model), Hoyt quiver holes, plunger hole, and a front stabilizer bushing installed. The removable black plastic grip is thicker than previous Hoyt grips for a more stable hold of the bow in your hand.

Includes calf hair plate, rug rest, plastic grip, soft shell takedown bow case, and manual.

I love this riser. I also shoot Olympic style recurves so the weight is not a concern. My riser is 21" and I am using it with long DAS 3K Carbon limbs. This combo gives me a 66" bow. I would have given this a 5 Star rating except for two cons. This is an expansive riser. At this price the riser should be anodized rather than painted and Hoyt should have provided two plunger holes… read more rather than one. I did not like the feel of the grip so I installed an RCore Jake Kaminski I Am Recurve grip which is a major improvement albeit a personal preference

I would buy this bow over any other ILF bow on the market.

I love this bow, I searched for months and always came back to this bow. There are a lot of great bows out there, but this one is perfect. It is expensive, but if you want a bow that can stand the test of time, this is the bow you want. I researched the types of metal used in almost all ILF bows, and this one is the strongest. I hunt hard, and in steep country, I have fallen over… read more the years and broken bow limbs in the past, ILF allows you to continue on with your hunt if you have a spare set of limbs.

I would steer clear of this riser

I picked this riser up and thought it felt great and decided to order one. After setting up the bow I realized it cracked my limbs because the limbs pivot on the sharp edge of the riser. The finish was also terrible. Every spot you take out a machine screw or add a plunger the paint chips off. Honestly I have no idea how Hoyt can sell such a terrible product.

Went from compound type riser recurve to this...wow! Hit x on 3rd shot from 20 yards off the shelf. You wont be let down by this one, also wrist slap is a thing of the past with this dude.

Will a tru-glow 3 pin sight work on this riser? Can a whisker biscuit arrow rest work as well? On a samick discovery there are 2 holes by the rest, on the satori I see only one. Just wondering if the rest I want to use (whisker biscuit) can still mount up

The 17" riser does not have bushings for a sight but the 19" and 21" do. I would not recommend a whisker biscuit on this riser.

As far as I'm aware, only the one grip fits the Hoyt Satori. As 3 years ago

As far as I'm aware, only the one grip fits the Hoyt Satori. As for different lengths, you can factor in mass weight, the ATA accessory bushings (on longer risers, not on short) and the overall bow length (can change with limb length, but that has its considerations too).
