If you have ever owned one or Gregg's custom Java man bows these limbs will feel familiar. They have a custom made quality that is immediately apparent and is a very nice option for ILF / longbow shooters looking for a more traditional quality in their gear. The strung profile is more reflexed than straight or D shaped, especially near the tips, this is a common trait for Java man read more bows and seems to enhance performance as well as looks. Excellent speed, I also have Centaur and Dryad limbs in he same weight and the Java Double Carbon limbs are definitely in the same league, the Java limbs have an excellent cast, I believe this is due to the bamboo which is a fantastic core material for longbows. I put these limbs on a 17" DAS, they were quiet with only a flemish loop string and after tying some silencers on the string they were extremely quiet without needing any limb mounted dampers.

Since these are rated on a 15" riser, and you're stating they would loose poundage on a longer riser (approx 1lb / inch), if I order 45lb limbs they would approximate 40-41lbs on the 19" riser?? And also approximate back to 45lbs with a 30" draw?? Thank

Yes you are on the right track. You will also have some wiggle room with the tiller bolts to tweak poundage by a couple.

I have a 31.5" draw length. I'm looking at the XL limbs. At what point will stacking take place on these limbs? Is the draw force curve fairly linear? If I am wanting to be in the 53 lb range at 31.5 what weight limbs should I be looking at?

It depends on your riser length but generally I recommend at lea 2 years ago

It depends on your riser length but generally I recommend at least a 66" if not 68" bow for that draw length. You may not even feel stacking with a 68". You could add about 6# to the limbs.

I wish to fit these limbs to an ilf riser. Does one have to purchase the ilf fitting separately to change myself, or can I leave a note with the order and 3R staff will ship them already changed like your other DAS longbow limbs?

IF you requested it we can change the bushing to ILF and we can install them. You would need to have the ILF bushings on the order.

When figuring weight for a 17" DAS riser, what would be the adjusted weight. For example, 45#'s on a 15" DAS riser would be what weight on a 17"? Thanks.

For every inch you can approximate 1 pound difference. The longer you go the lighter the limbs will be. The shorter you go the heavier the limbs will be.
