Good string
I'd say it's a good string (though I haven't use it extensively to make sure). The only caveat is that these strings are quite thin, which might make them light and high performance however it means that larger arrows with larger nocks, like 3Rivers hunter arrows, don't fit well.
Good product high quality
Well made
Yes
Less stretch than fast flight, solid feel. This is a good hunting string.
Bow strings
Very happy
Nice addition
Nice addition to my bow, I cant speak for other bow styles but it made mine a joy to shoot.
Awesome performance from this string!
Great string, really made a huge difference in performance from my 60 pound Samick Sage
Top of the line string
I have used these strings on my recurve for three years now. The break in time is minimal. My bow is quieter with this string than other fast flight strings I have used. Out of habit I change out the string on all my bows every spring and these show minimal wear.
Laser Flemish-Recurve
Excellent string! set up in minutes. only compliant is that I noticed that the loop serving is a little short. Have called in (twice) to make mention that it should have at least another 1" added to both loop ends, this will keep the actual string from slapping the groove upon release. So far haven't seen any effects, just a personal preference....
Jumped to another spine weight
I have yet to put it through a cronagraph but the string pushed me up to 400 spine arrows so I guess they are flying faster. Amazing a string can make that much difference.
Good Recurve String
Really good bow string. I put in on my 60" recurve and it shot great right away. There was absolutely no stretching after shooting and leaving it strung overnight. I won't need to worry about the brace height changing over time. My bow is also a lot quieter and faster with this string.
Different strings may require a little work to get proper fit , you can use a file to open up the nock groove , or you can dip the nock in boiling water to soften the nock an work it on the string to get the fit the way you like it .
Yes I would go with this in a 58" length.
I would not recommend this as it is a Fast Flight Material. I would go with a B55 string.
Yes if you get the string and the brace height is a little low then you would twist the string until you achieve the proper brace height.
Yes this string would work great with the super grizzly
Had to put on a heavier serving. A little small for the nocks I use. Shoots good though.
Yes you can
With that older bow i would not recommend this string. I would go with a B-50 flemish twist string at 48 inches long (1515X)
The correct string length for a 52" Kodiak Magnum is 48". However, the Lazer HP bow string is a good string but I don't think it is the right string for your bow. I also have a vintage Kmag, along with a modern Kmag in my household. I personally would with stick with B50 or B55 material string for a vintage bow. Even though it has limb tip overlays they are decorative in nature. Others may have different opinions but I'd stay conservative, why chance damaging a great shooting bow from history that would be hard to replace. Now I've also bought 2 of the Lazer Strings, my experience is they are high performance strings, that do not stretch AT ALL and both were an inch shorter than what I ordered. I don't know if I got 2 from a short batch (I bought a 48" and a 54" and measured 47 and 53" respectively) or this is typical. If I did it again, I would add an inch to the length of what I needed so if you still wanted to to take a chance and get this string I would get a 49" string as a 48" would have your KMag braced over 8.5"
I would go with the B50 Flemish Twist 1515x in a 58" length.
For a 62 inch recurve the 58 inch string length is correct. However, Be sure the bow tips are something like G 10 fiberglass to work with the " Lazer" type string. If unsure choose a dacron string. I have a Bear Grizzly, a Grayling Green, and a Bear take down. The Grizzly with the dacron string shoots as well as he others ii my opinion. The serial number on a Bear bow can be an aid to determining if the tips can accommodate the "lazer" string.
Hoyt topically runs all there bows 3'' less then the length of the bow
If it is a recently made Montana, then yes, you can use the high performance Lazer bow string.
