Sooo easy!
I watched the video; it was really easy to install.
Grip
son and I cut and fit and applied to his new longbow. worked great.
Quality leather
Cut it to fit and then use Barge cement to make a grip to suit your fancy.
Leather is of Excellent Quality
Very satisfied with product
Good
Good piece of leather, great for grips. Of course you will need a few things to put it on, but it gives any bow a nice touch when it's stitched up. I put strips of rabbit fur above and below to give it an extra touch.
It all depends on how you want the bow to look. If you are trying to keep it similar to the original look then i would get the adhesive backed leather.
Hey, choice is yours about the tone of color. 3 Rivers has a great You Tube video on sewing on a grip. Recommend watching, paying attention to measuring grip, making sure have enough material to do so. I have sewn several on my long bows. I have a later model Grizzly, has no leather grip. Choice is yours.
I would not recommend this for a recurve riser. The bow saddle (item #5048) fits the best on recurve risers.
You will want as small of hole as possible just enough to get your needle through. It looks much better that way.
I used a small finish nail. Check out on YouTube, 3 rivers archery, grip installation.
It depends on how large your needles and thread are. You want to punch holes just big enough to easily get your needles through.

Yes I have done a Tomahawk bow with this material and it works well.
No, the Leather Grip Material is not adhesive backed. We recommend using Barge Cement to install. http:\/\/www.3riversarchery.com\/product.asp?i=4188
No. It's plain leather. You'll have to either glue or stitch it. Or both.

Rubber cement will work fine. It does not hold as well as Barge, but it will get the job done.
I would not recommend this for a recurve riser. The bow saddle (item #5048) fits the best on recurve risers.
