These Leather Strops are great for the shop or field.
You can set it on the table or hold it by the stick to get the angles you need for that razor edge.
Leather Strop wth Wood Base
Very handy to finish the edges on your knives and broadheads. I thought the block that the leather fits on should have been better quality, but it does the job, though.
Reasonably priced
Just the right size for broad heads
A must have for broad heads
This is a great product. It is essential for finishing the edge on broadheads and knives. Once you use it you'll never be with out one. It makes getting that razor sharp edge a breeze.
Simple and inexpensive
I bought this to finish the edge on my VPA three blades and Magnus snuffers. With a little inexpensive stropping compound, I was able to get my heads shaving sharp in no time. Stone to strop and into the quiver.
Awesome!!
First strop I ever owned. It really puts the edge on.
That is correct, If you are stropping the Woodsman's you will wan to have two blades down and pull the broadhead backwards.
The compound will help but is not a necessity.
Yes, the stropping compound is actually what makes it work the best. there are several different grits, much like sandpaper, in compounds. Research that some to decide which is best for what you want to accomplish (somewhat dependant on what type of steel you are stropping too).
I found it works much better with a compoound. Sent from my iPhone
