This Level 1 Bow sight is perfect for entry level target shooting recurve bows. This basic style aluminum bow sight was very popular back in the heyday of target archery. Features a no-tools precision adjustment, that allows approx. 6" of movement of the sight pin. Great for shooting long distances at targets. ...read more

Not so good
Bought these for my two grand daughters for their starter bows. Plastic sight pins broke on one when adjusting the sight. Neither sight would stay tight. after a couple dozen shots they would shoot loose and drop down the slide. Replaced them both with a better sight for just a few dollars more.
Works mostly as intended.
I put this on a 50 lb Sage Samick bow but have not used it extensively. At first I was concerned I could not move the sight to the right enough, but this concern was not necessary as there is perhaps 1/8" to spare [when shooting off the shelf]. The windage adjustment is quite long, but I will probably cut off most of the screw to the right of the bow; it will never get used. … read more My biggest complaint is that the sighting arm slides down the sight because of the bow vibration. The slide is slow, but I needed to readjust after some shots, perhaps 20. When I shorten the long screw, this issue may diminish or go away. The scale used on the site allows one to easily adjust back to the initial setting [or as needed]. The sight provides one nice pin [with circle], but one is it and I may find it nice to have at least a couple. Because the pin attachment is rather bulky, putting on a second may not be practically accomplished.
Excellent product
This is great product for target archery. I bolted it on easily and it is solid. Adjustments are simple and require no tools so it is awesome in the field. The vertical slider has lots of room to move for a wide range of distances. Though archers like Brady Ellison would use better sights, this sight is perfect for most archers. I will definitely buy a new one if this one breaks.
Works as described
This sight works very well as described. My problem has been adapting to it. The only way I have been able to make it work for me is to close my left eye momentarily to put the proper sight ring on the target. Using both eyes gives two sight ring images but,you know then, that you are using the proper one.
Basic, indeed.
I bought this for my daughter to replace a taped matchstick she was using. However, it's too flimsy and the pin holding the aperature does not stay in place. The mounting plate/bracket is too thin and easily bent. On the plus side, the product is inexpensive, and very straightforward. Adjustments are a snap, even though those adjustments might not hold. There are probably better… read more sights out there - or better yet, go sightless!
You will need to install bushings in your riser if it does not have any in it . We do offer a Bow Wart https://www.3riversarchery.com/ata-quiver-sight-mounting-bracket.html , that sticks to the riser that your sight attaches to or you can install bushings in the riser , https://www.3riversarchery.com/ata-quiver-sight-mounting-bracket.html .
It is mainly a RH sight but can be converted if the upside down part doesn't bother the shooter.
This is a RH only sight
You do not need a string peep to be able to use this sight.
Tyro, It is a sight for a recurve bow, all recurve bows used as in Olympic style shooting do not use a peep (it is against the rules). Now, I am sure you can install a peep sight on a recurve string but, that is not it's intended use. Happy arrows, Arturo.
You do not need a string peep for the level one bow sight.
Yes you can use this sight on left and right handed bows.
Yes, just flip the bracket. Sent from my iPhone
I believe it is, I see no reason why it wouldn't work either way. Hope this helps
Mine is right handed but I am pretty sure you can just flip it over and it would be fine for a lefty.
Yes, it should work with the Mohegan
