I am a senior citizen that still enjoys target archery. But I have found that I have had problems with my bow arm and shoulder apparently caused by the transmitted shock caused by the loosing of the arrow. This stabilizer has noticeably absorbed much of this shock/vibration effect.

Just for grins, I tried a 3.5" from my compound on my Sage, and couldn't tell any difference. Back on the compound it went, where it works marvelously.

I have a 1980's Bear Super Magnum (AMO 48)and want to make sure the 3.5 inch Limbsaver will fit my factory mount. I am not sure if the threads are standardized. The bow has considerable "shock" effect, so do you believe the 3.5 inch model will help? I p

Yes I do believe it will fit your bow. It should help with some of the shock. I have since switched to Stokerized and they are phenomenal. I hope this helps.

The thread on the your bow should be standard will fit the s coil. It dose reduce a fair amount of shock however has very little weight. where I'm from the they classify this as s stabiliser due to it's length and can not be used in a bare bow event. Oskar

The stabilizer insert on modern bows has been standardized to 5/ 11 years ago

The stabilizer insert on modern bows has been standardized to 5/15-24 for some years now. You will have no trouble using any choice of stabilizer. Hope this was helpful! Sent from my iPhone

Can i go with a 4.5" and then buy and attatch a 2.8" extension to the 4.5" stabilizer to make it 7.3" ? Thanks!
