This thing may as well be a thimble. I had to stretch the leather by wetting it and using pliers just to get it onto the tip of my limb.
Seems to work better on longbows

The stretchy cord is a bit long for use on my recurve bows, and the bowstring tends to slide off the back of the bow and hang there all loosely. The leather cup is also a bit small for the wider recurve bow tips, though it stays on. It works great on my Prologue longbow though.

Bought for my longbow, A little snug on my longbow tip but I made them a little stouter than some others so that wasn't really a surprise. Still fit great, easy on easy off. I'll be putting them on all my future builds. I'd recomend

Very effective for keeping bowstring in place when unstrung. Keeps string from untwisting, and locks string in place when sliding in and out of bow sock. A very handy accessory! Glad I purchased the product!

I use these string keepers on all of my bows. I have seven longbows and 2 recurves and all have these keepers on them. Really wouldn't consider anything else. Some of my keepers are more than 20 years old and still doing the job.
