I am a hunter fist archer second. I have tried the long bow in the past but settled on the recurve until I tried my nephews Bear Montana, borrowed it for a month now and found I want to switch due to I'm shooting more accurately. I drove to 3 rivers archery, explained my case and up stairs we went to try some long bows. I must add; through the years I've shot many different kinds… read more of expencive custom bows and brand name bows. The young man understood I was not shopping for a expensive one I liked the Montana. Then he handed me the PSE Terra, I smiled and threw some arrows. It was not the fastest, prettiest,smoothest bow I've ever shot, it stacked a little but it was very accurate and I loved the grip. I never would have considered this bow due to the "it's a great beginner bow advertising " the young man at 3 rivers said; you seem to shoot the Terra the best out of the three bows I was trying. I took it home, fine tuned it. Put some bear fir on the strings. It likes 8 1/4 brace ht. It shoots like a champ. It whispers. I'm not a beginner, it's going hunting with me this year. Great bow, great price.

Bought this for my 12 year old son, 40 lbs draw. Pleasantly surprised at the quality. Love the bow. It shoots great and feels great in the hand. Excellent value. Now I want one for myself and my wife.

I have a friend who has a draw length of 25.25"and they are 5',5" can they use this bow?

Yes they can this bow is weight at a 28 inch draw length. if they pull 25.25 inches they will roughly be pulling 9 pound less than marked weight.

I just ordered this bow in #55. I have a 28" draw can I use 400 spine carbon arrows that I use on my 55# recurve? Id not what can you suggest?
