Adding genuine cow horn can take any project to the next level. These horns can be used for tip overlays, self nock inserts, buttons, quiver adornments, or just about anything else you can imagine. Each genuine horn is cleaned and polished to a high shine. However, the inside may still need to be cleaned for some projects. Every horn is slightly different in shape, color, and marbling; and can vary from a basic black color with some marbling to a basic black color with no marbling. Approximately 6-8" L x 2" W. They vary a bit, but pretty much as advertised. the wall thickness varies along the length with most of it being around 2mm thickening to a soild bit in the last 2 inches or so. If you are trying to make a thumb ring be careful, some of them are not suitable for that. The white part is not as durable as the black and my buddy split the ring he made while shooting.
The one I received was maybe 9" long on the outside curve. Roughly 2" diameter at the base. Thickness varied between 1/16"-3/16" at the outer rim.
