Form fit after 2 minutes in hot water it slipped right onto top and formed exactly to shape.
Must have item.
Easy to use and holds the string well.
I use this on my bows
Stays on bow protecting lower limb tip, yet is easy to take off for brace height adjustment.
A great product, with a little modification
I measured how far from the bow tip the string grooves were on the back of the bow, in my case 1 inch. Using a paper hole punch, I punched 2 holes 1/2 inch apart and 1 inch back from the closed end of the tip protector. I used a pair of scissors to cut a straight line between the holes. Next I pushed the lower string loop thru the slot until the loop started coming out the open… read more end of the tip protector. I slid bow tip into the string loop and bow tip protector and pushed the tip protector all the way on the bow tip while making sure the string ended up in the string grooves.
I like it
This fits great on my longbow
Fit right out of the package
Got this for my kodiak bear special recurve and it fit right on with no problems. Doesn't come off when shooting or walking through the woods.
This worked great for me.
I put it on my Super Kodiak and it never comes off. I shoot every day. The only thing that is hard is putting it on and taking it off. (I only keep one on the bottom limb tip)
The only limb tip protector I use.
What I like about this particular tip protector is that it stays in place, weighs next to nothing, waterproof, has a drain hole, and really does protect the limb tip.
On certain bows I have, these were the only ones that fit
I have a few bows that none of the other tip protectors will fit. On some of them, I've been able to cut these in half and fit the pointy end of my longbows below the nocks and they've held on good so far. All depends on the bow. The ones they do fit on, they do a great job of protecting the tip.
Fits my Bear Montana longbow nicely!
Fits well on my Montana longbow, but a bit pricey for what it is.
Yes you can use this on a bow that has a FF string on it.
These tip protector's will work fine with FF strings. I have a FF on my Bear Montana with this tip protector and it works great. Thank you and happy shooting, Archer44.
I use it on my recurves that use FF, works great! I have them on every bow I own.
Absolutely Sent from my iPhone
Should work fine. I use them on all my bows, FF as well as Dacron.
Bow tip protectors are sold by the each.
It will fit snugly but you shouldn't have any problems putting this on.
Hi: I use these protectors on my bows, but they might not fit just every bow. I have a Samick Red Stag and the tips of the limbs are too wide. If these you are asking about are sort of plasticky and not super flexible, they are the ones that can be too narrow for the limb tip. There is another that eRivers sells that is somewhat softer and more flexible. I bought one of those for my Red Stag. Sorry I could not be more definitive. I am at work right now and my equipment is at home. Good luck in your efforts. Dewey Dykstra PS: I know that money and sometimes time can be an issue, but this sort of tip protector is not very expensive. If cost is not a worry, you might consider ordering a couple different types. When you get them try the most likely candidate and send the other back unopened.
It goes over the top of the string.

These do not come in pairs only singles. This is to be used on the lower limb tip to keep it from getting scratched up.
No, all of our tip protectors are sold as singles.
In the picture, the bow on the left is a longbow tip. You may need to trim the bow tip protector down so it does not interfere with shooting, but it slides right over the tip and string groove. I like to trim a "V" on the belly of the bow for where the string separates from the bow.
