Trash
I bought this thinking it would be good to potent my tip it won't even fit on my tip. Even on my skinny tip. Very cheap rubber piece that wasn't worth the money didn't even work
Worked great for my longbow
Fit tight on my Prairie Predator longbow
Offers great tip protection.
The tip protector can be tough to put on. Once it is on it is great! If you plan on taking the tip on and off, I would not recommend it.
Best tip protection
I have used these top protectors for years. If you have trouble installing, put a drop of dish soap along the inner esge.
Not like the old ones
I've got a couple of these from years ago that I've taken on and off different bows several times. I know how to do it, it's not rocket science. The instant I took this new one out of the package it felt squishier and lighter, I thot maybe it will go on easier. WRONG!!! It ripped before it was half way over the tip.
Protect those tips!
a little difficult to get on, but once it's there, it's bombproof.
Inexpensive Protection - Easy to Install...
Just what I needed to protect the bottom tip of my recurve bow for only a few bucks. At first I tried to install it dry - it won't go on that way. I went to my garage and got my can of silicone spray and sprayed a little in the tip and it slid right on all the way no problem. So use something to lubricate it before trying to slide it on.
Do not buy this product
Great Service from 3 Rivers Archery. These bow tip protectors are a poorly made product. Not at all durable. Plus they smell strongly of rubber. Deer could smell them several hundred yards from hunter's concealment area.
Rubber is soft and tears easily...
I bought two of these for my recurves, and the first one I tried to put on ripped into pieces just trying to slide it over my limb tip. These do not stretch well over what I would consider to be a slim recurve tip. the rubber is soft and tears easily with minimal stretching and working. The second one I was able to manage to get on the tip, but I had to wet the tip with some water… read more to get it to slide on. I would not recommend these, and will not buy them again. You are better off saving your cash, and making something at home to cover your tips.
Excellent, as always
Use a little saliva to help slide over lower limb tip. Once on, it won't work it's way off.
Yes they will.
Yes it will, my tips are fast flight with this protector on it and my stringer will work fine.
Yes it will
Not if it's a rubber/plastic sock end. The fabric ones (like the one selway makes) fit over it. Sent from my iPhone

These protectors are snug. I turn them inside out and roll them on. That is the easy method I have found.
I put a thin coat of string wax on the bow tip and it slides on with a little wiggling. More protection for the bow, too.
A little liquid dish soap and it will slide on
Turn the cover almost all the way insideout so there is only a small 1/2 round end left. Then wet it with a little spit on the inside and work it onto the end of the limb and slide the rest over the limb. These will fit longbow or recurve limbs.
I felt the same way the first time I tried to install one of these. I installed mine on a longbow, but I would imagine they can be used on some styles of recurves, depending on the width of the tip. When you do get it installed, it's not going anywhere. My opinion it's the best tip protector out there. Basically, line it up on the tip and push firmly to get it started. Keep sliding it up the tip until it is snug. It does take a little elbow grease and it'll take a few minutes but it's worth it. I've never tried a lubricant with it, but I would think it would make it slide off easier as well, which is not what you would want. Hope this helps. Sent from my iPhone
I cut just a little off the end with a hobby knife and it fit my Martin Jaguar to a T.
The tip protector is sold as a single unit. It they were placed on both ends of the bow, you'd have one heck of a time unstringing your bow. The protector takes some effort to install. I bought mine to protect the bottom tip, which is more often bumped anyway.
No, these are sold as eaches.
It has only one that You place on bottom of bow to set on ground, or prevent scratches from slides and scrapes.
They are sold as singles. You would only want to use this on the lower limb.
