Very loud bow, low quality product

Not recommended. Bow is very loud (mechanical sound). In addition, one of the tillers was forced in from the factory and couldn't be moved. Disappointing.....

Excellent Riser

I've been using this riser for about a year now. It has become my go-to bow, and I'm really happy with it. The finish is good, and it has proved very durable. I love the look and the performance. The adjustments are positive. It works well with the DAS limbs that I got to go with it. I plan to hunt with it this Fall. I think that you get a lot for your money with this bow. I have read more two negatives. 1) There's a certain buzz that I can't seem to remedy. It's not loud, but I can hear it. It's definitely in the riser, but I've tightened every screw and bolt with no difference. 2) There are very limited aftermarket options for a replacement grip. I prefer a lower grip than what comes with this riser. I ended up removing the wood grip altogether, adding some tennis grip tape, and shooting off the riser.

Incredible riser with lots of options

I've been shooting this riser for about 9 months now and really enjoy it. It is very light so you may want to consider counter weights of some sort. The metallic part of the riser is great and I have nothing but positive comments. The handle could be better. My handle took some shimming to keep it from wiggling and the finish is pretty poor. These are easy to remedy and I'm read more glad I did because now it is a great riser for hunting or target shooting. I recommend this product and suggest Samick bring the handle up to the level it should be.

Watch the limb bolt engagement.

Overall I like the riser, well made, seems strong. Biggest problem I have is with my 55 lb TRADTECH recurve limbs, I cannot get the weight down much below 60lbs without the limb bolts being seated only 4 turns into the riser. I had to make my own limb bolts and made about 5/16 to 3/8 longer. Not sure if same problem with the SAMICK limbs.

This riser is for real!!!

I have owned this riser since it became available in the US almost a year ago. I wanted a rugged and well built metal riser for deer hunting but I didn't want to spend a small fortune and I wanted it to be ILF. I have two wooden ILF risers and several sets of limbs and after cracking a wooden riser I decided that I wanted a metal riser but the price is high if you want quality read more and I couldn't justify the expense. I have two Samick bows I have had for years and I have always been impressed with the quality for the price with their products. When I saw this riser advertised I called the company and asked a lot of questions and I was happy to hear it was being made in South Korea and not in China and was on par with their line of competition risers so I took a chance. Let me say you won't be disappointed. It's a machined aluminum riser with good weight and a quality build. It's easy to adjust and my set up it whisper quiet. I use long 50 pound limbs so I have a 62 inch set up and I shoot off the shelf with a bear hair rest and a round felt side plate and I couldn't be happier. It's a great 3D and white tail set up. I was glad to see Three Rivers offering this product and even though I got mine before it was a valuable here i wanted to pass on the good news that this is a top notch product at an affordable price.
