These risers end up with a very long bow in length. It would depend on your draw length though on how long of a bow you should be shooting. Please give us a call during the week at 260-587-9501 to help you choose a proper bow length.

On a 25" riser any limbs will accommodate a 30" draw. Medium limbs would make a 68" bow for reference. As for pull weight, you will have to see what riser length the limbs are rated on, then subtract 1# per inch going from that length to 25". So a limb rated on a 17" riser is going to be 8# lighter on a 25" riser.

What Samick limbs do you recommend. I'm thinking carbon foam? What would the overall length be? I have shot a bow before but this would be my first bow. Not at all interested in hunting and will not compete, just target shooting.

I really like the Carbon/Foam Discovery Limb we offer. We have 2 different lengths available. The longer the bow the smoother it will draw and you can be more accurate due to that.

It is cut past center for handling wrap around rests, so it should be able to handle any rest. Though would need more information on the exact rest you have to tell you more. As for the 55# weight, you would need to check with Samick, but I don't see why it would not be able to.
