Just NO!
Looks good on paper? I'm a little picky about accuracy, especially in measures and tools... maybe it's just the one I got? I've tried tape and hard ruler and no matter what I set as a line it doesn't match a ruler? No matter where I align this with an actual measuring device it doesn't meet the basic standard of matching. Not at all. Not on any single measure point. I've checked… read more it against metric and it doesn't work? That's a non-starter for me. Yes, it's graduated, but that graduation is random.
I found this product to be excellent for my use in setting
Generally used in bow set up
Kid tested
Its plastic but durable i have kids an they bent my metal one when i wasnt lookin they had this one bending it. It didnt break so kid tested happy archer approved
I would recommend this bow square

Vital Tool
Use daily, numbers and measurement lines are clear, all Good!
It's a bow square...
...it does what a bow square is supposed to do. Seems well made and functions as advertised.
Not the bow square I had hoped for
The guage swinging out of the way seems like a great idea. It isn't, half the time when the guage "swings" out of the way it also falls off of the bow square. Then you get to stop what you were doing and hunt for the guage on the floor. Thankfully it is bright yellow and stands out on a dark floor.
Nice Bow Square
I've used this square to set up my long bow. It's simple to use and it's accurate. The swing awayfeature is a real plus.
Does the job
Does what it is supposed to I like the fact that it is the same shape as an arrow but I'm it seems like it may break at any time appears to be cheaply made
PLASTIC
This will do the job, BUT I do recall seeing it advertised as aluminum and then getting plastic! NOT happy about this. I have been a customer for a number of years now and this?????
Plastic
It is 100% plastic but does exactly what it is supposed to do.
plastic ANDREW
If you were to put this on your string and the arm of the square on the rest of the bow the bottom raised line on the scale is center. The very top of the scale is 1/2" above center. The second raised line on the scale is 1/4" above center.
That 1/2" is from above the shelf. Your draw style will also have an impact on where you set your nocking point, typically lower for three fingers under. Remember not to crimp your nock set on to tight to allow for tuning. I have this bow square and my nocking point is 1/8" above the line that would represent the top of the arrow. I hope this helps.
You measure the fistmele or the brace height form the deepest part of the grip to the string.
To the deepest area of the grip. (that's what I learned)
