For archers who wish to overcome target panic, there is no better cure than the Sideklick clicker. This ingenious device lets you know you have hit full draw by making a distinct "clicking" sound. This helps you improve accuracy and form by imprinting muscle memory. Easily mounts to the outside of your bow's plunger hole perpendicular to your arrow. When the arrow is drawn back the magnet on the Sideklick moves to lightly touch your arrow (making the noise) when the threads of your steel point crosses the magnet. The magnet disengages when the metal threads are not next to it, so No impact on arrow flight. Use the mounting bar to adjust the distance in front of your bow, or mount through your plunger hole. As it the Sideclick Draw Check engages when the thread of your point passes, having an arrow that sticks out at least an inch from your bow is highly recommended. Comes with the Sideklick clicker, mounting hardware, and full instructions. ...read more

Excellent clicker, the mounting bracket, not so good
I am a hunter oriented archer that shoots 10-50 yards for fun and practice. I shoot 300 or so arrows a week, and have done so for years. I bought this as my draw length increase while working with a coach - I wanted to gain some muscle memory while hitting my new and longer draw length. I shoot a recurve and use arrows that extend beyond the back of my riser. This clicker worked… read more well for that and has been really useful. The clicker assembly seems robust and I think it operates reliably in a predictable fashion. I use aluminum footings on my hunting arrows, and the magnetic clicker operation works well, sensing the arrow tip screw in threads through the footing and arrow shaft wall. BUT, the mounting bracket provided is a flimsy piece of flat plastic with a hole and a slot milled into it. A single machine screw tightened down into a slot in a flat piece of plastic is not going to hold the bracket in the intended position - it moves around while shooting at home in a controlled environment, so forget about successful use in a hunting situation. Overall, I like this device well enough that I will be making my own aluminum bracket to hold the clicker assembly in place. I hope the manufacturer will read this and provide a better bracket to buyers in the future.
So far so good
Great way to check draw length and refine all aspects of the shot process. I had tried a limb mounted clicker in the past and while it was useful I wasn't happy that I couldn't pull through my release after the click (well I did, and pulled it off the limb). I have the sideclick set up so that I can continue to expand through to release about 1/4" past the click. I even have… read more one arrow cut 3/8" shorter in the quiver to explore exactly where my optimum DL is. Minor adjustments to draw length are easy moving the clicker in or out the mounted bar. This, like the limb mounted ones clicks again if you collapse. I was shocked to learn how often I collapsed before release, hence my decision to draw another quarter inch after the click. It is possible I may revert to the limb mounted type for hunting as I know they can be quieted down nicely.
Yes it can be used off the shelf. In the video provided with the product photos, you can adjust it to use off the shelf or with an elevated arrow rest.
It can vary depending where it is mounted but you have about 1.5" of adjustment.
I have it an inch out on a titan clicks at 28.25 draw on a 30 inch arrow.. this will limit shooting excessively long arrows. I have about another half inch I could go out. That would shorten my draw to click or allow a longer arrow.
It will stick out around 2 1/2". Be aware that the clicker is really easy to rotate so you'll have to check it before each shooting session
Yes this will fit and work on that bow.
I put one on a trad tech titan 2. As long as you have holes drilled and tapped for a plunger/bolt on rests etc you're good to go. From there limitations go to arrow lengths and broadheads have to be mounted on steel adapters for the magnet to catch.
Yes it should! It's adjustable. As you draw the arrow through, the magnet will attract to the steel insert and make a click. This gives you the same draw every time and also can provide the archer with a signal to release. Hope this helps. Ricky Hunt
As long as your riser has a 5-16X24 bushing you can mount the clicker either to the bracket with the included screw or directly into the bushing. Depends all on your draw lenght and cut length on the arrow. Works great with my Samick Discovery.
You will be able to detect if you are collapsing during your draw. The magnet will have a spring to pull it back when it cannot connect to your shaft.
We have not had any issues with that in our testing.
I do not believe it would work well with tape.
