The bow looks and shoots great. Very light in the hand and hits where you point it at

I really like this bow. It's attractive yet simple. My draw length is 29 1/2 and I have no stacking issues what so ever. It's a nicely made bow with a 30 year warranty. Can't go wrong with that.

Great Bows

I use this bow for practice, 3 D shoots, stump shooting and hunting. over the years I have purchased 4 slick sticks a 55 lb at 60" a 45lb at 60" and the newer ones a 40 lb at 58" and a 50 lb at 58". I personally like the new 58" bows better . I find that they are a little faster than the older ones and smoother to draw and shoot. I don't think you can buy a better bow for the money.

Excellent Bow !!

I was looking for a shorter longbow. This bow is awesome. Shoots fast with no handshock or finger pinch at 28" draw. My new favorite bow out of the several I own.

This bow has a smooth draw with no stacking at all at a full 28" draw. The short design is very hunter friendly in blinds and tree stands. I have a 45# that is surprisingly quick and powerful. I highly recommend this bow.

Outstanding performance!!! A joy to carry and hunt with.

I use this bow to practice with and to hunt with. It's a pleasure to shoot and carry. I use a 7.25" brace with a 28.5" draw and find this bow to be quiet and speedy with relatively heavy arrows. A quality design.

Amazing

What an amazing bow, handles like a dream and the pictures do not do the craftsmanship justice. I've never used a Longbow and never a Hybrid but it shoots a lot like a recurve. I picked up a 40lb and it seems more powerful than my 45lb recurve.

Fast shooting compact long bow

I shoot often I would say if you have a longer draw length say like 29+ inches with the 45# slick stick you will be rite in the middle of a 400-500 spine and will have to adjust the length of your arrow as well I still have not found the perfect length and spine yet for my draw length in this particular bow it shoots good though and fairly quite and fun to shoot in prone style positions read more and in tight areas. It does stack up some on the draw with a longer draw length. Overall good bow though and will be honing in my arrow spine and length etc. oh and the string is thin so it does shoot fast too but make sure your knocks fit properly on the serving. I had to put another serving on for my knocks

Awesome

This is a gorgeous bow and so lightweight. I'm a beginner so I took it in to the local archery shop and the guy working there wanted to try it out and loved it too! :)

I would recommend a 35# @ 28" model Slick Stick. I believe you will have a draw length of 27" (give or take) and that would lower the pull weight of the bow about 2# to be a comfortable to shoot bow for your starting level.

It will shoot different so it might need different arrows but 50# would be the best bet for using the same arrows.
