I have made approximately 25 bows (some have actually survived) using primarily Tite Bond III EA 40 is thicker and easier to apply. It is less sensitive to clamping and will fill small gaps rather than flowout of them. I have use other epoxies with limited results. The results have been with Smooth On have been great. The expert from 3Rivers was right on with the advise on this product. Great product from a great company.
Simple, easy do it yorself epoxy.
I'm not a bowyer but I re-glued 2 of my favorite Hickory Ben Pearson recurve bows that were literally in pieces. One limb entirely in half from tip to riser. After 24 hours they were refinished like new. A very simple product to use.
