Great wax!
I've tried several brands of waxes, and this one is the most durable and longest lasting on traditional Flemish string bows.
Works well.
Good wax. I use it regularly making flemish strings for longbows and then to maintain them. I will say that I like it MUCH better than the little cups of bees wax. It adheres better, is softer and (to me) it works better in string building.
Great product
good bang for the buck.
Good stuff!!
Works as advertised!
String wax
fine product
Best Ive found
This wax is superior to the competition its right consistancy and melting temp. Not gooey like the other guys is.
I will purchase again
Bought this for my recurve bows and used it as soon I received it. Showed it to my friends at the archery range and they all used it also. Everyone was very pleased. Great product and will be buying more. Will have to keep extras for my friends!!!
Great string wax
Have used this product for many years, and will always use it. A tube will last forever and without drying out. Definitely increases string life.
Water resistant
get this product on the string and get the protection
Worth every penny!
Had a string that looked real bad one use of this an it's looks and shoots better than ever.
I have not heard of anyone doing this with our string wax. I would check with the bow's manufacturer first.
You can remove them or wax the string up to them. Removing the silencers will get wax to the string that is under them.
Yes you can use the Tex-Tite was on that string.
I usually just put wax on the string and use a small leather piece to rub it and melt the wax into the string.
I usually just pinch the string and run my fingers down it to rub the wax in a little. This video does a good job explaining the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dQt-w2zkAw
For me anyway, I view cleaning the string as removing old wax that has picked up any grime on the string. To clean it, I just take a damp microfiber cloth and gently rub whatever grime and wax is easily removed by the cloth. Don't go crazy rubbing the string and creating tons of friction, just gently loose any dirt or excess wax. After you're done, and the string feels dry to the touch, go ahead and apply your string wax. I like to knead it in with my fingers, as to lubricate the fibers inside the string. I also find using a cinched piece of floss, or serving material and running the legnth of the string after waxing gives the string a clean, cylindrical feel and forms a bit of seal, while also removing excess wax. Hope this helps some.
I don't think cleaning is what's meant. I use a scrap piece of leather to rub the string down real well...this will generate heat and saturate the string with the wax. Charlie Etheredge

Yes, this wax is safe to be used on any of the bowstring materials that we carry.
