Love the horse! Makes the task so much easier! The only thing I would add is a third leg on each end that stops the forward/backward movement when shaving.
Great for carving spoons too!

Was VERY easy to put together, works great, just wish the leg brackets were metal instead of plastic. I am looking for metal ones to replace them with. Horse is still worth buying 100%

I purchased this shave horse to aid me in bow building. It sets up easily and breaks down for storage just as quick. It is well built and locks the stave down like a vice without marring or deforming the stave

Only thing that would make it better is making it out of oak! And maybe the legattachment. But outstanding for the price.

This Bow horse was easy to put together with out tools. I like that it can be pulled apart and laid flat for storage and transport. I like that that the clamp can be adjusted.

My favorite is to set it in the yard on a spring day and work staves and enjoy the sun but its an all weather all year tool, I have had 3 , and its the best of its kind.

Useful and easy to modify, you just need to reinforce the legs yourself a bit.

I am almost positive it is pine that has been flamed for color, appearance. It is definitely not a hardwood, which would be nice. But mine has held up, and it has had a lot of use.
