The Legacy Series Tomahawk is a reflection of the Tomahawk Bows' humble beginnings. Dale Karch apprenticed with many bowyers, but none had as much impact on his personal bows as Dick Boss of Boss Bows. This 3-piece takedown blends the Boss recurve and the Tomahawk longbow, creating a bow that's: Smooth, Elegant, and Dependable. Universal limb fitting allows for any Tomahawk 3-piece limbs to be used on the riser, without the need to have the limbs built specifically to the riser as is common with custom bows. The three piece Tomahawk® Legacy riser features a core of Cocobolo Futurewood surrounded by Phenolic, with accent stripes for a look unlike any other. This riser features superior strength, and zero handshock. Overall length of 16" with 10.5" distance between limb bolt holes. Takedown attachment uses an Allen wrench limb bolt and single alignment pin for ease of setup and universal fitting of any other Tomahawk Legacy limb pair. Each shelf is radiused and cut approximately 1/8" past center with a black calf hair rest and plate installed. No grip material included to give the shooter the warm feeling of the wood handle. ...read more

Revised Review
This riser, coupled with the 50# Tomahawk Legacy Foam Core Limbs that I bought with it, makes a great bow. Comfortable grip. The limbs fit well on it, with no looseness or play. The bow is powerful, fast, has long arrow cast, and it is forgiving. There is no hand shock that I can feel. The bow pretty much shoots where I look. With some practice I was able to reagulaly hit 14x20… read more inch stumps from 35 to 40 yards.
Very Nice Bow...But...
I bought the Tomahawk Legacy riser along with the foam core limbs in 50# weight. It's a great bow, that pretty much shoots were you look, and is very "fast." But there is a problem. I called 3 Rivers and asked to buy spare limb bolts and bushings for my Tomahawk three piece take down bow. I like to have spares in case I loose one. I was told that they didn't have them to sell!… read more That was puzzling since Tomahawk is their in house brand.I was told I could buy the bolts at a hardware store, but there was no way to get the limb bushings! After wasting time trying to find the right bolts at Home Depot and Lowes (they didn't have them), I found that the bolts in the Black Widow Conversion Kit for Selway Bow Quivers (item 5097) work well as Tomahawk TD limb bolts. But I still can't get the limb bushings. So if I loose one I'm SOL. I'll have a $[$] bow that I woun't be able to use. When I explained to the person at 3 Rivers why I wanted the spare bolts, and bushing, he said if I were worried about losing the bushings that I should glue them into the limbs. I told him I was going to buy different weight limbs for the bow, and I asked if bushings would be included with them. He said no. So now if I glue the bushings to my present limbs I won't be able to use other limbs. That negates one of the advantages of the take down bow. Needless to say I didn't order the other limbs, and 3 Rivers lost out on a $[$] limb sale, becuse they don't want to sell Tomahawk TD bow limb bushings! I really like the Tomahawk bow. It shoots great, but because of this experience I would return it and buy a bow from someone else that could supply spare parts. The problem is that I've had the bow more than 30 days and can't return it.
Legacy riser
Love the way it fits in the hand.Looks great and not too heavy. Well designed. Limbs fit tight like they should.
Yes you could mount that quiver to this bow.
Sorry not familiar with bow attached quivers. Make my own senaca tribe style. Super6 Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
