This is a great product that have been exactly what I have been looking for; a good way to keep my longbow closer to shooting position, so that I don't have to make a lot of movements when deer approach. When combined with the limb skins I bought, I am pretty much invisible to deer. The minimal movement and extra camo has eliminated detection so far.I was surprised it didn't come… read more with a leather thong, but I used some camo decoy cord and that works great for wrapping it around your leg and keeping it from flailing around. There are holes for this, so no big deal.It is a bit pricey if you ask me. I felt a bit desperate so I got it, and it is high-quality leather material, but I think it is probably worth about $[$] less than I paid (in my mind). 3 Rivers would sell more at that price, I bet. On the other hand, I am sure they are pretty much hand made, so maybe I am out of my mind. If I manage to get a deer this year, I know it will be in part because of the benefits of this holster.Overall, a great product!!

instead of putting the tip of the bow on the ground or on your shoe and leaning on it, you put the tip into the holster. It helps to keep your bottom limb tip from getting scratched up.
