It improves accuracy, allows for tighter groupings. I like the riser/ plunger combination. Lightweight, simple and functional. I am buying a second one for my other bow.

The Plunger works, but the rest broke after just four arrows. Disappointed.

This was for my 11 yr old son on his recurve. Only negative thing, it had a hard time keeping the arrow on the rest. I had to slightly bend the metal rest up at the tip to hold the arrow. Once done, this works great. Definitely recommend it.

The Xakt riser is a standard plunger bushing, so this will mount on it. I believe you might want a elevated rest with a little more wire to it, but you should be able to bend it a bit to allow for a riser with a deeper cut past center shelf like on the Xakt.

Does this mount in the front hole or rear hole? Front = furthest from the shooter Rear=closest to the shooter

I have a DAS recurve bow that I use for both target shooting and hunting. Would this rest and plunger be compatible with the DAS bows and would it be appropriate for hunting. Thanks
