Absolutely!!
I actually bought the Yukon recurve for a back -up to my custom made longbow. I was planning on hunting bear with my longbow in Michigan this year, but after shooting the Yukon recurve, I'M USING THE YUKON FOR MY BEAR HUNTING! I can't believe how light weight and fast it is! Beautiful bow and everything I want in a hunting bow. I love it!
I would buy it again
I'm a beginner to archery at 74 . I shoot 30 to 40 arrows a day sometimes more. The more I shoot it the better I like it.
My first bow
This beautiful bow was recommended by a loyal Three Rivers customer.
Great bow fun to shoot
This Bow will become one Of your favorite bows. You will want to go out and shoot it.
Unfortunately, no. This bow does not come in LH at this time.
yes it is
Yes, but pick a lowest poundage we have. Recurves stack more energy and can be harder to pull back than a longbow if the poundage is too high.
Arrow length and spine are dependent upon your draw length and bow weight. Plus, what point weight you are shooting. We have a YouTube video coming out on Saturday (Aug 28th) that covers picking proper spine for extra help.
Recommended brace height for the Yukon is 7 1/2" to 8".
It would but I think you will run into stacking at that draw.
You can use fast flight strings like the Rogue or the BCY X string.
This bow is weighed at 28" and the arrows will depend on the bow weight, and your draw length. Feel free to give us a call and we can help with arrow selections. 260-587-9501
It comes with a 1 year warranty.
I like the Yukon better than the Timber Ridge. It seems to shoot a little faster and the grip fits my bigger hand better.
