What are the Mathews Lift X specifications?

Mathews lists two Lift X models. The 29.5-inch model covers 24.5–30-inch draws with a 6-inch brace height and 3.99-pound mass; the 33-inch model covers 26–31.5 inches with a 6.5-inch brace height and 4.26 pounds. Both list 55–80-pound draw weights, 80 or 85% let-off and the SwitchWeight X cam. Mathews rates them at up to 348 and 343 fps (IBO); these are maker claims, not our measurements.

Which Lift X size fits which archer?

Mathews’ own ranges answer part of it: a draw above 30 inches is only inside the 33-inch model’s range, and a draw under 26 inches only inside the 29.5-inch model’s range. Between 26 and 30 inches both are listed. The longer bow also costs more: $1,496.00 MSRP against $1,359.00.

Is the Lift X a beginner bow?

Its lowest listed draw weight is 55 pounds, the highest floor in our compound catalogue. A new archer who needs a lighter starting weight should ask a fitter about it before buying. Our first-bow checklist covers the questions.

What can the spec sheet not tell you?

We have not tested its draw cycle, valley, noise, vibration, balance and accuracy. Advertised speed stays a maker claim with the maker’s label. Handle a configured bow at a shop before you buy.
