3Rivers Internal FOC Weight Jig Reviews

Good concept

It's a really great concept good enough to peak my interest to test it out to see if I should ad it was an option for the woodies I make. Here is the low down... Its great if you are just going to drill 1 inch into the shaft to add a tiny bit of weight. However there is simply too much play in the tolerances of the jig to accurately line up center. I spent a few hours testing read more and testing but no matter what once I cut into the shaft to see how accurate the drilling was it was always lob sided getting too close for comfort to the outside of the shaft. I was hoping I could get up to 3-4" to act as a footing. If you are just going to drill an inch into the shaft I think you will be alright but nothing more than that.
