This is the 3rd one I have bought. They work great.
I make arrows for use and display and this is excellent
Nice!
The great Northern feather jig is very well constructed with quality materials. I found it very easy to operate after watching a you tube video of it operation. I was able to quickly, percion grind feathers, despite having never done it before. If you want precision grind feathers quick and easy. Then I highly recommend this jig.
Disapointing
I bought this feather grinder thinking that it would be better than my home made grinder, and it is in some reguards. I'm now up to $ invested in this grinder and I would suggest to anyone just getting the cheaper one. Not worth the extra for this one.

It gives me great satisfaction to be able to utilize other parts of game taken besides the meat.
A great piece of kit for your feathers!
This is an excellent and very well thought-out jig. Very easy to use and produces first-rate results every time. Each feather is ground to exactly the same thickness every time. I make a lot of arrows, using different styles and colours of feather, and the 3-Rivers Grinding Jig has been the best tool I've ever used in 26 years of being involved with archery. One thing which is especially… read more good about this product is the guide-wheel on the drum sander itself. This stops the quill from being ground-down too far.
