Works Pretty Well
My husband likes what it does for the price. It's a lot less expensive that others and makes it far easier to straighten our arrows from target shooting.
It is great for straightening shafts, would purchase another
Straightened some not so straight arrows that I had been living with for practice, ended up using them again in competition the next weekend.
I like it a lot
Wish I had got one years ago. Have thrown away a lot of shafts that could have been saved
Excellent!
Very effective at straightening aluminum arrow shafts. The proper technique may require a bit of practice though.
It really works
I've seen this tool for a long time and always thought it was a gimmic or junk. I was wrong it really dose a good job of straightening your arrows. Good enough for practice ,stump shooting, or small game. If I had bought this tool when I first saw it twenty years ago I can't tell you how many arrows I could have saved. The one thing I didn't care for is it leaves small dents in… read more the arrow shaft. You can't really see them but you can feel them.
Couldn't be more please
Really excellent, allowed me to expand my hobby quit nicely
It works.
It is a VERY time consuming tool to use, but will save you some bucks on buying new arrows. I can keep plenty of practice arrows using the straightener.
Good, but not perfect
I use it to make slightly bent arrows useful for stump shooting, etc.
It Works
I am glad I bought this as it works very well for what it is made for. It can take some time and extra effort to get some bends out. I have learned a few techniques to do the job like sliding the straightener down the arrow while squeezing. This way can get the arrow very straight but will blemish the surface. My only complaint is how thin the handles and grips are. When squeezing… read more this tool for the time it takes to fix some bends it will give your hand some pain. All in all I am glad to have bought the tool.
Best ever made
Use with Patience It does what its made for
Yes
Its hard to straighten the ends of aluminum arrows no matter what tool you are using . To avoid bending the tip do not try to pull a stuck arrow by the arrow itself if you can unscrew the shaft, and use a tip puller to pull the arrow point out that will save a straight arrow. If I Strike steel or cement with an aluminum arrow it will more then likely be damaged beyond repair . The Cartel arrow straightener works good on bends in center of aluminum arrows.
I will pass this to the video production, from what I have used of it it seems to work well.
No, it does not work with wooden shafts.
By design it looks like it would work for shorter bends but for longer bends you will still need to hand bend.
