This was the the first time I used a feather burner and making the proper ribbon was a snap using the template. The 5 1/2" shield feathers came out perfect the first time. No samples or trials, needed. Very satified with result.

Super for Young Feather Burner ribbons.

I saw this while ordering more ribbon wires for my young feather burner. Thought it would be nice to have a consistent looking form to make fletches for other people. (I still like making my own sleeker designed fletches.) When I opened the package I wasn't sure it would work like i had imagined. My wife picked out the style and size she wanted for her new crossbow bolts. I… read more put the ribbon wire on it and made the form. It was very easy and when I set it up on the young feather burner and burned the first completed bolt with spliced colored fletches, it looked great and was very easy. I am completely satisfied and impressed on how it works, and how well they are made. I am sure they will last a long time, probably longer than the burner. So if you have ever tried to make your young feather burner produce normal styled fletches and were not happy with the outcome, try this and I am sure you will also be impressed.
