Replacement Klean-Cut Ribbons for Young Feather Burner Review

Picture is deciving because it shows three (3) ribbons.

The picture shows three ribbons which makes sense. But you have to read the description because you only get one for the price.......I didn't read closely enough so now I have to order 4 more!

Great Product, will order again!

I have the typical Youngs Burner and these were great. I only wish they were longer so I could make more shapes. I make Fantasy Arrows and the feathers are not you typical shield style cut. However, I will buy more.

Quick Easy works as advertised

A ribbon works better than a wire. I used a home made fletch trimmer for years with old toaster wire that would bend and change shape. The ribbon is way better it does not expand very much from cold to hot and is easy to set up correctly so every arrow is exactly the same.

I will buy this product in the future.

I purchased the burner on e-bay it was used and it didn't come with the nock holder the ribbon was all bent up to the point of no use. I ordered a nock holder and two new ribbons they came in great time and in perfect shape. I teach archery to friends and others and this helps me refletch there arrows when it is needed this has helped in a great way. Thank You 3 rivers for the product… read more and the catalog.

Made my own feather burner with a R*d*o S*acK 12V transformer for $10 and these work fine.

Works great / description misleading.

When you read the description and look at the picture of the item, you would think this was for a pair of Young Feather Burner ribbons. HOWEVER IT IS ONLY FOR A SINGLE RIBBON, NOT PLURAL RIBBONS (Note: many other venders list them unfortunately the same way). I had ordered two thinking that I would get four ribbons. I only needed two for new crossbow arrows that I was creating… read more so it was not bad for me in this case. However, I wish I had read the other reviews on this item, but did not see any reason to read a review on something that was so simply made and I knew that I need them. So the Young Feather Burner ribbon works very well and is made of a very good quality metal. When used with the True Flight Style feather profiles you will get a perfectly formed ribbon and a great looking fletch that is uniform on the shaft and identical to all the other fletches on the shaft. This is what you cannot get from already made fletches or by using the other fletch cutters.

Picture Problems.

The only negative thing was that I thought, from the picture on the website, that each order was for two ribbons. In the description below it did indicate that it was for only one, but it was not obvious.
