As a retired technican, I realized that a proper tool was needed to tighten my tapered brass/screw-in BHA adapter field points into my aluminum and carbon shafting. While there are wrenches with protective sleeves to protect brass fittings, none were small enough to fit in your quiver pocket to carry on the range. Purchased this wrench just yesterday. After trying the Top Hat Adapters and finding it difficult to get the adapters to seat properly, I decided to buy the tool. The cost was more than I wanted to spend, but the tool is well made and worked as advertised. After re-checking the points that I put on the first set of cedar arrows I found that there were several more turns to completely seat them properly. The tool is… read more a must if you use Top Hat adapters and want no marring or them flattened out of round. Would rate 5 stars if the tool was a little more affordable.
