Good replacement blades for Tru-Center Taper Tool
Super sharp and long lasting blades that make tapering wood arrows very easy.
What a stellar product! Cuts points and nocks to perfection!
Simple to use and results are exceptional.
" Stay Ahead with Replacements"
Best hand taper tool I've ever used. Blades are very sharp and give a nice even taper. The blades last for a long time, but if your making a lot of arrows its a good idea to have a new set of blades when needed.
Great product
3ra is a great company to work with .
Great tool
This tool was the best purchase for the tapers on my wooden shafts. I make my own arrows from a variety of woods and this helps me in the process. Makes the job faster & simple.
Good Product
This tapper tool works very well. If you're building arrows for yourself and not in heavy production, this is the tool for you. The blades are very sharp and do a fantastic job at tapering.
Replacement blades
Needed it for my tool priced ok!
Tru-Center Taper Tool
I am making my own target arrows from oak, ash, pine , black walnut, and douglas fir so far, and I am installing glue on points. I have had no trouble using this tool to shape for the points, and I am not mass producing arrows . As to how the various ways there are to purchase extra blades, I just bought an extra set to go along with my taper tool and receivced six of each size.… read more Hope this helps Don
You can place an order online or via email for those blades.
The Original Tru-Center Taper Tool was tapped differently after September 1st 2011. So if the taper tool you have is before September 1st 2011 these blades will not fit in the tool.
If you have the old style it will take the longer blades. I ordered the wrong ones and had to return them. Contact 3 Rivers before ordering. I guess I got confused about what model I have. I just checked again and I'm still confused about what model I have. Measure the blades and then order. Bill
Sorry. I don't know the answer to your question. Have you contacted 3 rivers? They're very helpful. If you get in a jam, try the less expensive, plastic disposable model. I find it works better than the tru-center taper tool, whose blades need adjusting and replacement. I figure I'll just use it till I can't, then throw it away.
The Tru Center taper tool was discontinued. For one full year we offered to swap your old taper tool body for a new body, that excepts the new blades due to the difficulties people had lining up the old blades we went to the V2 Taper tool which is a much better design.
I was also sent the wrong blades for my taper tool. The catalog showed a picture of thge same tool as I had and because of that I ordered the blades. Plus postage to the UK. No use at all. Also not happy at all. I was advised to buy a new tool...
That is correct on needing the two long blades. Very soon we will have available in the drop down options the two long blades for those with the original Tru-center taper tool bodies.
Our Tru-Center Taper tools are made to cut through cedar and soft woods only.
