How is it different from the Bear Grizzly?
On paper: 60 inches AMO against the Grizzly’s 58, a top listed weight of 55 pounds against 60, a Flemish-twist string against Dacron, and $629.99 against $499.99. Longer recurves are often suggested for longer draws; ask a coach to check with your own draw length.
How do I choose a Bear Super Kodiak draw weight?
Choose it with a coach or fitter. The maker lists 25–55 lb listed options. A recurve’s marked weight is measured at a stated draw length, so the weight you hold changes with your own draw. Start lighter than you think while you learn form.
