Why does a takedown recurve matter to a beginner?

The limbs come off the riser. When you can draw more weight, you replace the limbs, not the bow. Ask a shop which limb weights it stocks before you choose a starting weight.

Why is there no price?

The Samick Hunting page shows “$0.00” beside “many in stock”. That is not a real price, so we show none. Retail prices vary by seller.

How do I choose a Samick Sage draw weight?

Choose it with a coach or fitter. The maker lists 25–60 lb listed options. A recurve’s marked weight is measured at a stated draw length, so the weight you hold changes with your own draw. Start lighter than you think while you learn form.
